Our musical journey this year started in the middle of January with Shawn Pittman, who has his hot new album with him (featuring Erkan and Levent). We toured Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway and stopped in Münster for a few days to hang at our jam and celebrate my birthday!

Next was a trip with Sharon Lewis, including my first visit to Finland!
Trudy Lynn
I almost forgot to tell you about this one: A real banger of a trip to Alicante with blues diva Trudy Lynn and my friend Darryl Ciggaar. Also Roel Spanjers and Billy T Troiani!
Johnny Rawls
After that we got to spend a wonderful week at Marians Jazz Room in Bern, Switzerland. Guitar Safari included. I got a new bakelite pick guard for my mexican reissue Telecaster and almost bought a beautiful mint condition 1982 Squier Strat made in Japan.
Tad Robinson
Next was a trip with Tad that started in France and went trough Italy, Germany and Denmark. We played this beautiful, freshly restored baroque theater in Novi Ligure.
Bonus: I was happy to be invited back to my friends event „blues @the factory“ in Coulembourg, NL.
